A child has been left with “non-life-threatening injuries” after an alleged strangulation incident involving a man from Mayfield.
The 29-year-old has since been charged with strangulation following the incident, which reportedly occurred on Wednesday.

Police were called to the Launceston General Hospital Emergency Department after the child presented with injuries.
The man is scheduled to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court this afternoon.
