Reality TV stars Jessie Renee Wynter and Will Young have announced their engagement after three years together, with Young proposing during a romantic trip to Tasmania last month.
Young, known to fans as ‘Farmer Will’, revealed the news on social media on Sunday night after keeping the engagement private for several weeks.
“On the 9th of December I asked Jessie to marry me,” Young wrote.
“Since then, we’ve been celebrating with each other and Jessie’s family, just us, with no outside noise, exactly how we wanted it.”

The couple, who met on Love Island UK Season 9, have been celebrating with Wynter’s family in Tasmania.
“I searched everywhere for the right place. I know how much she loves the ocean and the mountains and there’s nowhere she loves more than home,” Young said.

“Every time we come to Tasmania Jessie takes me to her favourite views and just sits and admires how beautiful Tasmania is, so when I found this spot, I knew it was the one.”
Young revealed he had been planning the moment for over a year, finding a perfect location on the state’s east coast, saying “it wasn’t easy, but every second was worth it.”
The engagement comes as the couple spent the Christmas holidays in Tasmania with Wynter’s family, who live south of Hobart.
Young made a surprise appearance as a guest DJ at Hobart nightclub In The Hanging Garden on Boxing Day, joining Tasmanian DJ duo Baz and Grom while Wynter watched from the crowd.

Since meeting on Love Island, the couple has built a significant social media following documenting their life together on Young’s family farm in the UK.
“Since we met on Love Island three years ago I’ve been the happiest boy in the world,” Young said.
“From the very beginning I knew I wanted Jessie to be my fiancée.”
The couple currently hosts a podcast together where they discuss their relationship and life after the reality dating show.
