A man accused of shooting another in the arm in Rokeby last weekend has been arrested.
The 31-year-old local was charged with aggravated assault and committing an unlawful act intended to cause bodily harm after police carried out several searches across greater Hobart this morning.
The alleged shooting happened on Tollard Drive around 3:30pm on Saturday.
A 36-year-old man was shot in the arm and is in a stable condition at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
Police also arrested a 34-year-old Rokeby woman in connection with the incident.
She has been charged with committing an unlawful act intended to cause bodily harm and released on bail.
Detectives spent five days investigating the case after the alleged offender fled the scene.
Police thanked community members who provided “valuable information” that helped with the investigation.
The man is due to face the Hobart Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
