A 40-year-old man has been arrested following an altercation in New Norfolk early on Thursday morning.
Police say the incident occurred at Downie Circle around 1am on March 13, involving two men who are known to each other.
As a result of the incident, one man sustained injuries, while a 40-year-old was charged with wounding.
He was detained and will appear before the Hobart Magistrates Court.

Pulse understands police investigators remained at the property for several hours following the incident.
