A 56-year-old man has been charged with assault following an “altercation” at a holiday park in Ulverstone on Saturday evening.
Tasmania Police were called to the Big 4 Holiday Village on Water Street around 7:05pm on Saturday.

The Ulverstone man was taken into custody and charged with assault.
He was due to appear at the Burnie Magistrates Court today.
Police believe several people witnessed the alleged assault and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact Tasmania Police on 131 444 and quote offence report 801301,” a police spokesperson said.
