A 46-year-old man has been charged with multiple firearms offences following a targeted police operation in the state’s north-west yesterday.
Taskforce Scelus officers executed a search warrant at a West Ulverstone residence, where they seized three gel blasters, a taser, drug paraphernalia, and a quantity of cash believed to be proceeds of crime.

The West Ulverstone man was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with multiple firearms offences as well as minor drug-related offences.
He was remanded in custody to appear before the Devonport Magistrates Court today.
