The body of a man has been found inside a burnt out car in Longford this morning.
Emergency services were called to Union Street around 10:40am after reports of a car on fire near the boat ramp.

Once firefighters brought the blaze under control, they discovered the body inside the vehicle.
Tasmania Police have launched an investigation but say there are “no suspicious circumstances” surrounding the death.
“Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and loved ones of the man,” police said.
Access to the boat ramp has been closed while the investigation continues, with police asking the public to stay clear of the area.
