A man has been taken to the Launceston General Hospital with injuries following a two-vehicle crash on Elphin Road in Newstead.
Police said the man was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved.

“His condition is not considered to be serious,” they said.
The road has been reduced to one lane between College Street and Olive Street while police remain at the scene.
