The Tasmania Fire Service say a man has suffered burns to his hands as a result of a kitchen oil fire at a Devonport home tonight.
Firefighters were called to the Durkins Road address in Quoiba just before 7pm on Saturday night.

The fire started in the kitchen and was contained before it spread to the rest of the house, a spokesperson said.
The injured occupant of the house was treated by Ambulance Tasmania paramedics.
