Taskforce Raven, the Northern Criminal Investigation Division, and the Northern Drugs and Firearms Unit executed a search warrant at the man’s home, north of Launceston.

They allegedly discovered an estimated $30,000 worth of goods, including power tools and Tasmanian number plates, which police believe may have been stolen.

Illegal firearm components, including silencers, along with quantities of MDMA and cannabis, were also found.

The suspect has been charged with possessing a silencer, possessing ammunition without proper licensing, possessing controlled substances and unlawful possession.

He is set to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court.
