Man’s body found in water near beach south of Hobart

Police are investigating after a man’s body was discovered in the water at a beach south of Hobart on Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called to the Blackmans Bay Blowhole about 7am.

The man was found deceased in the water.

Tasmania Police said investigations were continuing but there was “no evidence to suggest suspicious circumstances”.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 131 444 and quote ESCAD 068-06122025,” police said.
