The duo has created significant buzz in the Married at First Sight community after their unexpected connection, having initially being matched with different partners.

According to insiders close to the couple, Burfoot and Rice have developed a romantic relationship following the collapse of their respective marriages from the show.

Burfoot has reportedly resigned from her position in Sydney and relocated to Tasmania to be with Rice.

During a recent interview with Launceston radio station Chilli, Rice opened up about his MAFS journey, revealing that his previous relationships had never been successful.

He said he joined the show hoping the experts could help him find a compatible partner.
