A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital with “significant” injuries after a crash in Glenorchy.
Emergency services responded to the incident on Grove Road, 50 metres from the Elwick Road intersection, just after 1pm on Saturday.

Police closed Grove Road at the Elwick Road end while they attended the scene.
No other serious injuries were reported.
A witness reported seeing a motorcycle being taken away from the scene.
The rider’s injuries were later described as “significant but non-life-threatening” by police.
“The crash is now clear and the road is now open to all traffic,” police said at 2pm.
