A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash with a vehicle towing a caravan on the Lyell Highway.
The incident occurred prior to 2pm on Tuesday about two kilometres south of Linda, near Gormanston.

Police are asking motorists to avoid the area and expect delays.
The highway is currently closed between Lake Burbury and Queenstown.
