A Tasmanian mother says she thought her lottery app had glitched when she discovered she’d won more than $1.5 million over the weekend.
The Latrobe woman was one of four division one winners in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw, taking home $1,556,751.24.
“I looked at the win yesterday and I thought something was wrong,” she said.
“I went straight to my husband and I said, ‘Can you look at this? Am I reading this correctly?'”
Her husband confirmed the win was real – but days later, the couple are still coming to terms with it.

“We’re still in so much shock,” she said. “It’s life-changing for us.”
The family has only told her parents so far, asking them to keep it quiet until the prize is confirmed.
With the windfall, the winner plans to buy a bigger home in the same area – one with a second bathroom.
“I can’t wait to have a house with two bathrooms,” she said.
The winning ticket featured the numbers 14, 13, 41, 29, 23 and 40, with supplementary numbers 17 and 1.
Tasmania has now had 18 major lottery wins this year, collectively worth more than $85.45 million.
