An investigation has been launched after a suspicious fire tore through a Moonah house on Friday night.
Police say no one was home when firefighters from Hobart and Glenorchy arrived at the scene.

The fire, which is believed to have been deliberate, caused around $250k worth of damage to the Amy Street property.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Tasmania Police or Crime Stoppers.
