Beauty Point residents can now enjoy the sport of bowls rain, hail or shine with the official opening of a new all-weather bowling green at the local Bowls and Community Club.

“This exciting new installation marks a significant milestone for the local bowling community,” Premier Rockliff said.

“We know the important role local community sporting organisations play in our regions, not just encouraging physical activity but also enhancing wellbeing.”

The all-weather surface allows for year-round bowling activities

The all-weather surface will allow club members to play throughout the year regardless of weather conditions, making the sport more accessible and safer for participants.

The new bowling green is expected to enhance playing conditions for existing members while helping attract new participants to the sport.
