A new $2 million purpose-built Services Australia Centrelink office will be built in Sorell in the coming months.
The Dubs and Co Drive centre is part of a promise made by federal Labor in the lead-up to the 2022 election and is hoped to be completed by the end of next year.

Federal Labor MP Brian Mitchell says the Centrelink office will be a ‘vital addition’ to Sorell.
The office will provide services and payments such as JobSeeker, Youth Allowance, rental assistance, and carers allowance.
The project is yet to be approved by Sorell Council.
