New images have been released showing more angles of the proposed multi-purpose stadium at Hobart’s Macquarie Point.
The images, taken from vantage points around the waterfront, show how the stadium will look and its scale in relation to the surrounding area.
They were specifically requested by the Tasmanian Planning Commission (TPC) to “fully consider the effects of the proposal on the landscape”, according to planning documents.
The Commission had called for a “greater number, variety and level of detail of visualisations” from the Macquarie Point Development Corporation to better assess the project’s visual impact.

Views from vantage points outside the Brooke Street Pier ferry terminal, Elizabeth Street Pier and Victoria Dock Bridge were included.
The stadium proposal is currently under review as a Project of State Significance.
