A new $60 million shopping centre in Kingston is nearing completion, with developers sharing drone footage showing strong progress over the Christmas break.
Spring Farm Village, located opposite Bunnings on the Channel Highway, is expected to open by mid-2026.
According to the developers, public works – including footpaths, pedestrian islands, a cycle lane and a bus stop – are nearly complete.
Shop facades are close to handover, while car parking is also taking shape.

“Spring Farm Village is really coming to life,” the developers said.
Interior fit-outs for anchor tenant Coles and other retailers are expected to begin soon.

The 7,000-square-metre centre was 85% pre-leased late last year, according to developer Tipalea Partners.
Coles will operate a 4,200-square-metre supermarket, while Chemist Warehouse will open its first superstore south of Hobart.
Around 15 specialty retailers are expected to join them, including a cafe, bakery, pharmacy and medical centre.
Tipalea Partners CEO Scott Spanton said in November the level of tenant demand reflected the area’s rapid growth.
“The demand we are seeing from retailers shows just how much this community is crying out for more convenience shopping,” he said.
The centre’s catchment area covers about 60,000 people, with the population forecast to grow by more than 10% over the next decade.
The project is being delivered by construction company Fairbrother and was designed by i2C Architects.
In the north-west, Tipalea’s other project, Stony Rise Village, is 60% pre-leased and on track to open in mid-2027.

Woolworths will anchor that centre alongside Our Chemist, The Coffee Club, BWS Liquor, a bakery, Loaded Laundry, a newsagent, a nail salon and K9000 Dog Wash.
“We’re building a proper local village. Easy to pop into. Easy to catch up. Easy to feel part of,” the developer said.
