Resurfacing roadworks have begun on the Tasman Highway between the Tasman Bridge and Lower Domain Road.
Hobart-bound traffic will be impacted each night this week from 6:30pm to 6:00am while the work is undertaken, State Growth say.
Lane closures and a reduced speed limit will be in place, with road users being told to allow for up to 15 minutes of extra travel time.
“These works involve resurfacing and linemarking as part of our regular annual maintenance work to keep the road network well maintained and safe,” said State Growth.

“While we will make every effort to keep to scheduled work dates, these works are extremely weather dependent and are subject to change.”
Further resurfacing projects are scheduled for other major highways across the state during the warmer months, with exact dates yet to be confirmed.
