Over 80 stalls: Tasmania’s best tourism offerings on display at Princes Wharf 1

Those behind Tasmania’s best tourism offerings are taking over Hobart’s Princes Wharf 1 this weekend.

The Tasmanian Tourism Showcase will give locals and visitors the chance to explore the best of what the state has to offer under one roof.

More than 80 businesses will be on display at the event on Saturday from 10am to 4:30pm, many offering special packages and discounts available exclusively at the wharf.

Destination Southern Tasmania CEO Alex Heroys said product tastings, discounted accommodation offers, new whisky releases, oyster shucking and even friendly therapy alpacas are all packed into the showcase.

“The Tasmanian Tourism Showcase is a celebration of Tasmania’s vibrant tourism sector,” he said.

“[It’s for the public] to experience some of Tasmania’s iconic landmarks and discover some hidden treasures.”
