A man has died at the scene of a serious crash on the Bass Highway at Ulverstone today.
Emergency services were called to the incident just before midday on Thursday following reports two vehicles had collided.

One person received serious injuries and was treated by paramedics, police said.
The 68-year-old man from Penguin was a passenger in one of the vehicles and passed away at the scene.
A driver and another passenger received non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the North West Regional Hospital.
The highway was closed for several hours as a result of the crash.
Investigations are ongoing and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
“Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones,” police said.
