A person has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition following a two-vehicle crash in Launceston tonight.
The collision involving a Holden Commodore sedan and a Mitsubishi Triton utility occurred at the intersection of Blaydon Street and Guy Street in Kings Meadows just before 8:30pm on Thursday.

Police and emergency services remain at the scene, with the damaged Commodore having crashed into the fence of a nearby property on Blaydon Street.
One of the occupants of the Commodore was transported to the Launceston General Hospital with serious injuries.
