The River Derwent has been transformed into a floating museum this weekend as the Australian Wooden Boat Festival makes its return to Hobart’s waterfront.
Now in its 15th edition, the festival celebrates the craftsmanship, history and beauty of wooden boats, bringing maritime culture to life.

Hundreds of vessels from across Australia and beyond have sailed into Hobart for the event.
More than 60,000 visitors are expected over the four days, including many from the mainland and overseas.
The festival runs until February 10.
