Police arrest man they say exposed himself in Launceston park for two hours

A man accused of “exposing himself” in a Launceston park for more than two hours has been charged by police.

Authorities received multiple reports about the man’s behaviour in Royal Park between 8am and 10:30am this morning.

The 43-year-old from Launceston was arrested shortly after and charged with prohibited behavior.

He will face the Launceston Magistrates Court in April.

Police are urging any witnesses to come forward.

Officers are particularly keen to speak with anyone who may have seen him acting in an “offensive manner” on the walking path between Royal Park and Kings Bridge.
