Police are investigating two deliberately lit fires in Hobart they believe were started by the same person within a 30-minute window on Tuesday night.
A house on Tolosa Street in Glenorchy was first allegedly set alight around 11pm.
Firefighters contained the blaze before investigators determined it had been deliberately lit.
Officers have now linked that fire to a vehicle torched near Gordons Hill Road in Lindisfarne on the eastern shore the same night.

It is understood investigators believe the alleged arsonist travelled between the two locations.
They are appealing for anyone who saw a suspicious vehicle or person parked or stopped on the Tasman Highway between the Rosny Hill exit and Dampier Street overpass between 11:10pm and 11:30pm.

Police are particularly keen to review dashcam footage from motorists travelling through the area during that timeframe.
Glenorchy CIB is leading the investigation and has urged the public to come forward with any information.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Inglis at Glenorchy CIB on 131 444 and quote OR790509,” police said.
“Information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers Tasmania on 1800 333 000 or at crimestoppers.com.au. You can stay anonymous.”
