Tasmania Police are investigating further reports of a man acting suspiciously near Hobart primary schools after receiving additional sightings on Friday morning.
Detective Inspector Craig Joel said investigators received reports of a Caucasian man driving a white van near two South Hobart bus stops before school started.
He described the suspect as being about 70-years-old and balding with white or grey hair.
“While no children have been harmed or assaulted, this man offered children lollies, and his intentions are unclear,” Joel said.
“We are again calling on community members to be vigilant and to report any suspicious behaviour to police.”

“Parents and carers are urged to speak with their children about ‘stranger danger’ and personal safety measures.”
Children should be encouraged to walk with adults or friends, be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious behaviour to their school, parents or police, Joel said.
