Homes and a vehicle in Hobart have been targeted with “projectiles” in recent days, sparking an investigation by police.
Inspector Brett Berry said the incidents, which have reportedly left residents shaken, involve what are believed to be ball bearings.

“Police wish to reassure the community that these discharges have not been from a firearm, however, understandably this is concerning to police and the community,” he said.
“Our police investigations are following a specific line of enquiry in relation to these incidents.”
Berry said no one has been injured in the incidents so far, which have occurred at properties across the city.
“If anyone has information or dash cam that would assist our investigation, I ask them to come forward,” be said.
