Two vehicles have been destroyed by fire after they were found burning on a road in Hobart’s northern suburbs last night.
Emergency services were called to Howard Road in Goodwood about 9:15pm on Friday.
Images from the scene showed both vehicles engulfed in flames on the roadway.
One, a Range Rover, remained at the scene on Saturday afternoon.

The other vehicle was taken away overnight, residents told Pulse.
The blaze came just hours after a police helicopter had searched the area for a white Volkswagen Golf stolen during an alleged carjacking and shooting incident on the eastern shore.

It remains unclear whether either of the burnt-out vehicles was the one taken during the alleged carjacking.
Police have declared the fire suspicious and are appealing for public assistance.
“Anyone with information in relation to the fire is asked to contact police on 131 444 and quote OR788381,” police said.
“Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers Tasmania at crimestopperstas.com.au or on 1800 333 000.”
