Police rush to serious crash on Tasman Highway near Triabunna

Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a serious crash on Tasmania’s east coast.

The collision occurred at the intersection of the Tasman Highway and Green Hills Road north of Triabunna, with police and emergency crews currently attending the scene.

Tasmania Police have issued an urgent advisory for motorists to avoid the area if possible.

“Traffic flow is affected and police are requesting that members of the public avoid the area, if possible, to allow the safe transit of emergency vehicles,” a police spokesperson said.

Authorities have not yet released details about the number of vehicles involved or any injuries sustained.
