Police have launched a widespread search operation for men in Tasmania’s north-west following an incident at a property in Upper Natone this morning.
The men are described as wearing dark hooded tops and dark pants. They may be walking along roads or attempting to hitchhike in the Upper Natone area.
Tasmania Police have warned the public not to approach the men.
“If any members of the public see, or have recently seen, any men dressed in a dark hooded top and dark pants walking along the road or attempting to hitchhike in the Upper Natone area, please contact police immediately,” a spokesperson said.
An increased police presence is visible across Upper Natone and Burnie as officers manage what they describe as an “isolated incident”.
Anyone who spots the men should call police on 131 444 and provide the exact location.
Police have not released further details about the incident at this stage.
