Police say officers attempted to stop the Honda dirt bike, which was reportedly travelling at speed along White Beach where pedestrians were walking on Friday.
The boy is accused of ignoring police and riding off.
A short time later, officers located the motorcycle in the White Beach Caravan Park along with the young rider.
The bike has since been seized by police for 28 days.
