A knife and a Molotov cocktail have been seized by police following a disturbance in central Launceston this morning.
Three people were arrested after officers were called to reports of an incident in the Civic Square area just after 9am on Friday.
Police allege a knife was found on a 33-year-old man, while a Molotov cocktail was allegedly found on a 39-year-old man.
“The knife and Molotov cocktail were not used in the disturbance and both have been seized by police,” a spokesperson said.
Police said the three people involved in the incident were known to each other.

The 33-year-old man has been charged with behaving in a violent manner and unlawfully possessing a dangerous article in a public place.
The 39-year-old man faces charges including unlawfully possessing an explosive device and drug-related offences.
A 36-year-old woman was also arrested and charged with drug-related offences.
All three are expected to appear before the Launceston Magistrates Court at a later date.
