A Risdon man is facing multiple serious family violence charges after a coordinated police operation across several locations in southern Tasmania.
The 43-year-old was charged on Wednesday evening following searches conducted by Tasmania Police’s South East Criminal Investigation Branch.
The charges include emotional abuse (coercive control), systems abuse and numerous family violence order breaches.
Several exhibits were seized during Wednesday’s coordinated searches at multiple locations, though police have not released specific details about the evidence collected.

“Supporting and protecting victims of crime is a priority for Tasmania Police, and this matter remains under active investigation,” a police spokesperson said.
The man is due to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on December 5.
