Police have closed a residential street in Hobart’s northern suburbs tonight after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.
The incident on Springfield Avenue near the intersection with Ripley Road occurred around 10pm on Monday.

Police said a pedestrian was injured in the crash, though the extent of their injuries is still unknown.
Police are diverting traffic away from the scene as investigators work to determine the cause of the incident.
