A house fire that broke out on King Street in Sandy Bay this morning has been extinguished by firefighters.
Emergency services responded to reports of the blaze around 8:15am on Tuesday morning.

Tasmania Fire Service crews arrived to find the home alight before bringing the fire under control.
King Street has been closed to traffic between Nixon Street and Russell Crescent as a result of the blaze.
Police are asking motorists to find alternative routes and avoid the area.
Authorities have confirmed no injuries were sustained in the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
