His last bail application, prior to his appearance in the Supreme Court on Tuesday, was made in January.

Jordan remains in custody and is scheduled to reappear in court for preliminary proceedings on May 14, WIN News reported.

Tatnell disappeared from Launceston in April 2023 and her remains were discovered in bushland in Nabowla, west of Scottsdale, three months after she went missing.

In addition to the murder charge, Jordan is also facing charges for failing to comply with ammunition storage requirements, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a prohibited import.
