Two members of an outlaw motorcycle club, including a high-ranking figure, have been charged with serious drug offences.
It comes after a police investigation into organised crime in the state’s north-west.
Detectives arrested a 36-year-old man and a 51-year-old man as part of an ongoing operation targeting criminal networks linked to drug trafficking.
The men face multiple charges, including trafficking a controlled substance and dealing with the proceeds of crime, after police executed search warrants at several properties in Devonport.
Officers allegedly seized quantities of amphetamine, methylamphetamine and steroids.

Detective Inspector Michelle Elmer said drug paraphernalia and a significant amount of cash believed to have been criminally obtained was also seized.
“These arrests demonstrate Tasmania Police’s ongoing commitment to targeting outlaw motorcycle gangs and reducing the harm they cause in our communities through drug distribution and organised criminal activity,” Elmer said.
Both men are expected to appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court at a later date, with investigations into their alleged activities continuing.
