Serious head-on crash closes Tasman Highway at Orielton

A person is reportedly trapped inside a vehicle after a serious head-on crash on the Tasman Highway at Orielton.

Police say the crash between two vehicles near the raspberry farm on the Tasman Highway has closed the road at Orielton.

“There are reports that people are trapped but their injuries are unknown at this stage,” they said.

“Motorists should use caution in the area [of] that incident.”

“Diversions are in place at the intersection of Tasman Highway and Fingerpost Road and also at the intersection of Tasman Highway and Brinktop Road.”
