Update – 2:30am Saturday: Two people remain in a stable but serious condition at the Royal Hobart Hospital, following the motor vehicle crash on Bruny Island.
Anyone with footage or that may have witnessed the incident is being urged to contact police.

Earlier: Two people have sustained serious injuries in a single vehicle crash on Bruny Island this evening.
Emergency services were called to the Jetty Beach Campground crash on Friday evening.
Both occupants of the vehicle are receiving medical treatment on scene and the at the Westpac Rescue Helicopter has been deployed.
Police are asking people on the island to avoid the area until the scene is cleared.
