‘Significant amount’ of MDMA, meth off the street after Ulverstone drug bust

An Ulverstone man is facing drug trafficking charges after a targeted search operation was carried out at his home.

Police allege the Tuesday raid uncovered a replica firearm and various drugs.

Specialist Western Drugs and Firearms Unit officers allegedly found the 42-year-old in possession of cannabis, methylamphetamine and a “significant amount” of MDMA.

The man is also facing charges for other drug, firearms and family violence offences.

He is scheduled to appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court later today.
