A Tasmanian couple who initially thought they had won just $919 in TattsLotto say they are still in shock after discovering their actual prize was a life-changing $919,794.
The Sorell residents held one of seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4633 on Saturday, with each winner receiving $919,794.14.

His wife described the moment of discovery.’

“The email came through, and I thought, ‘how come it hasn’t got a $10 prize on it or something?’ It said to check the ticket, so I did.”
“At first, I saw it and thought, ‘Oh, we’ve won $919!’, then I thought, ‘oh my god! It’s not! It’s not!'”

The stunned woman immediately shared the news with her husband, telling him, “you’ve just won the Lotto!”
When asked what the prize meant to them, the couple responded in unison.
“It’s life-changing,” they said.
The pair now plan to purchase their own home with their newfound wealth.
“We’re going to buy a house! We’ll go house hunting,” the husband said.
“But first, I’ll probably have a nanny nap today! I can’t stop shaking.”
Their winning entry was purchased at Sorell Lotto Hub in Sorell Plaza.
The winning numbers in the December 13 draw were 28, 20, 35, 17, 32 and 6, with supplementary numbers 41 and 25.
