Special South American flight over Tasmania becomes world’s most tracked

A inaugural flight over Tasmania has become the world’s most tracked this afternoon.

Over 400 people jumped onto FlightRadar to see what left a massive trail in the sky.

The resumed Latam Melbourne to Santiago service is expected to appear above the state several times a week.

After departing from Melbourne at 1pm for the first time since April 2020, the 787-9 Dreamliner is scheduled to touch down in South America in 11 hours.
