A Tasmania Police spokesperson told Pulse the search was launched following an alleged armed robbery at a home in Mole Creek earlier in the afternoon.

They said two people were arrested around 7pm as a result of the search.

”Around 3:50pm two people allegedly entered a residence at Mole Creek and threatened the occupants with what was reported to be a firearm in a targeted incident,” police said.

”One resident received minor injuries and the offenders allegedly left the scene in a vehicle.”

“Police thank people in Bishopsbourne for their patience while police were conducting the search.”
