Four people have been charged with aggravated armed robbery after allegedly forcing their way into a Perth home in what police describe as a “targeted” incident.
Police say the group, one armed with a baseball bat, stormed the residence on Tuesday and assaulted the occupant, who was known to the offenders.
Though the victim did not suffer serious injuries, the group allegedly fled with his vehicle, wallet, phone and other personal property.
Officers tracked the stolen vehicle to the Launceston suburb of Newnham and arrested four suspects.
A 32-year-old Newnham woman, 29-year-old Westbury man, 35-year-old Newnham man and a 20-year-old Launceston man have since been charged.

The group faced the Launceston Magistrates Court yesterday on aggravated armed robbery charges and will reappear in March.
“Police would like to reassure the public this was a targeted incident involving people known to each other and there was no threat to the wider community,” a spokesperson said.
“Investigations are ongoing. Anyone with information should contact police.”
