The Tasmanian Devils are ramping up preparations for their AFL debut by recruiting two key football department leaders.
The club has officially commenced its search for a General Manager of Football Operations and a List Manager.
CEO Brendon Gale said these “career-defining opportunities” are crucial to establishing a strong foundation for the team’s future success.
“We have had a lot of unsolicited interest in these roles, we are now looking forward to kicking off a competitive process to get the best possible candidates,” he said.
“We know how important these roles are in terms of experience in the game, but we are also focused on ensuring that we get candidates that are the best possible fit for Tasmania.”

The General Manager of Football Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing all football programs while fostering a high-performance culture.
The List Manager will lead the team’s long-term strategic vision, overseeing player recruitment and retention strategies.
These strategic appointments come at a pivotal time as the Devils prepare for their VFL/W debut, ahead of their AFL entry in the coming years.
The club expects to finalise both positions in the coming months.
