Tasmania Police are searching for a driver they say put lives at risk by hooning on a southern beach with passengers in the back of their ute.
The red two-wheel-drive ute was seen doing burnouts and other dangerous manoeuvres at Cloudy Bay Beach on Bruny Island over the weekend.

Police said the incident “could have easily ended in tragedy”.
“Incidents like this are dangerous and could result in the death or serious injury of those involved and bystanders,” police said.
Multiple hooning incidents were reported at the popular beach destination during the first January weekend of the year.
Police are urging anyone with information about the red ute or the other incidents to come forward or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.
