Tasmanian-born Queen Mary of Denmark has shared a special photo on her birthday, her first since being crowned Queen.
Her Majesty turned 52 on February 5 and shared the never before seen image on the Royal Family instagram account.

“For today’s occasion, the Queen has chosen a picture of a special moment with her father from her last trip to Australia in December,” a translated post on the page read.
“His Royal Highness Prince Vincent is the photographer behind.”
Mary’s father, John Donaldson, is aged 82 and was unable to travel to Denmark to watch Mary become Queen last month due to his his age and health.
