Home and Away star Kyle Shilling and his Tasmanian dance partner Lily Cornish have taken out the top spot on Dancing with the Stars Australia.
The pair wowed both the judges and fans with what many are calling one of the most powerful performances in the show’s history.
Their emotional freestyle to ‘Mo’Ju’s Native Tongue’, featuring Shilling playing the didgeridoo live, earned them a perfect score of 40 in Monday night’s grand finale.
They narrowly edged out comedian Shaun Micallef and partner Ash-Leigh Hunter, who finished on 37.

Cornish, the daughter of former Tasmanian newsreader and now politician Jo Palmer, impressed alongside Shilling with a routine the judges said blended emotion, culture and artistry.
Judge Helen Richey described the performance as “one of the best” she had seen in any series of the show.

Fans have flooded social media to celebrate the pair’s win, praising the authenticity and cultural impact of their routine.
The victory also came with a $20,000 prize, which Shilling donated to his chosen charity, the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
